Ed Barker was born and raised in Napa, CA and a graduate of Napa High School. Ed is a master goldsmith/jeweler/gem cutter, chef and Bladesmith. After working for master jewelers in Sacramento and Los Angeles, Ed spent decades crafting breathtaking jewelry for customers across North America. As a local chef and caterer, Ed became frustrated with over the counter chef knives so he decided to make his own. Although that was just a few short years ago Ed has become an expert Bladesmith and craftsman of exceptionally durable, razor sharp and beautiful works of art serving the culinary community through his company Ed Barkers Renaissance Knifeworks.
